Blair’s education and counseling experience includes working with pre-adolescents, adolescents, parents, couples, and adults at SMU’s Center for Family Counseling. Blair also has over three years of experience working in partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs, in which she worked with teens, young adults, and families in addressing depression, anxiety, trauma, suicidal ideation, and self-harm. While supporting clients in therapy and crisis intervention, Blair also developed the company’s group therapy and psychoeducational curriculum, collaborated with leadership, trained staff, and guided a team of therapists as lead therapist. Additionally, she had the opportunity to deliver presentations on specialized mental health topics to small practices and large school districts.

Blair utilizes an experiential and trauma-informed approach to join clients in developing the courage to be imperfect and vulnerable. She is eager to encourage clients to confront discomfort as the impetus for growth and adept at balancing interventions to support individuals, couples, and family systems in discovering solutions through their own strengths.
