Vivian Murcia, MS, LPC

Licensed Professional Counselor

Vivian is a Licensed Professional Counselor and earned her Master of Science degree in Counseling from Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Plano, TX, where she received specialty training in Play Therapy, Activity Therapy, and Group Therapy. Vivian’s education and experience includes working with children, adolescents, parents, couples, and adults at SMU’s Center for Family Counseling. Some of her experience includes supporting individuals and families in overcoming mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, anger management, as well as strengthening the bond between parents and their children.
Vivian believes that counseling is a tool that can benefit individuals to meet their personal goals and grow. Vivian strives to create a warm and supportive environment in which individuals feel safe to process through their emotions and achieve change. She believes that every person has a unique story to share and tries to meet the individual where they are. Vivian is fluent in Spanish and is happy to offer services in both Spanish and English. In her free time, Vivian enjoys spending time with family and running.
