Kaitlinh earned her Master of Science degree at Southern Methodist University, where she specialized her training in Activity Therapy, Family Violence, and Group Therapy. Her counseling experience includes working with adolescents and adults who are struggling with unhealthy or abusive relationships, relationship issues, childhood trauma, anxiety, grief, and low self-esteem at Hope’s Door New Beginning Center in Plano, TX.

Kaitlinh believes everyone has their own unique story. She aims to provide a safe space to process and work through the difficult parts of your story in a warm, non-judgmental way. She starts the counseling process by building a strong and trusting therapeutic relationship. Much of her work involves separating ‘the problem’ from the person, so that each client can feel empowered to embrace their strengths and overcome life’s challenges. She uses an eclectic approach that takes into account each client’s unique experiences.

In her free time, Kaitlinh enjoys staying active and being outside. Some of her favorite things include coffee, books, rainy days, and quality time with her husband and her family.
