Her work experience includes SMU’s Center for Family Counseling, where Monica worked with children, adolescents, and adults seeking counseling for a wide range of concerns, such as anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. She also has experience in partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs for at-risk adolescents. Monica believes counseling is an essential part of overall health and that people have their own unique story. Although everyone faces difficulties in life, whether it be everyday stress, grief, or navigating through trauma, there is growth when we find meaning in the struggle. Monica believes in providing a warm, empathetic presence to every client so they can find that meaning.
